HBO and Team Epiphany needed a sound for their launch of the incredible biopic on the incomparable blue singer Bessie Smith, BESSIE. Bessie was a visionary and was an ardent believer in the power of musicianship and we aimed to align with her mission.
By curating an amazing night of music featuring emerging artists, we were able to pay homage to her tradition as well as create a music discovery footprint for the network.
